Cascade Tours

Cascade Tours

All aboard at the Pemberton Railway Station for these return services which meander through towering Karri and Marri forests, over trestle bridges spanning rivers and streams, along one of Australia's most majestic rail lines. As you admire the breathtaking view on the journey, your tram driver gives an informative commentary on the forest, the Tramway and the history of the region.

Trams run South to the Cascades on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday throughout the year. On School Holidays we may operate on Sundays, please check your options when booking.

In Winter, trees are blanketed in moss while rivers are high and flowing rapidly. In the months of Spring; September, October and November, you will find the forest resplandent with colourful and sweet smelling wildflowers. Summertime sees blue skies beyond the canopy of the tall trees, while the Cascades beckon you to dip in a toe. Autumn brings about the glistening of raindrops on leaves and the relaxing sound of birdsong.

The 75minute Return Service shuffles out of Pemberton, past the Saw Mill and descends deep into the Karri forest. The tram meanders along the historic line crossing three bridges, stopping at the Cascades for 25 minutes before returning to the Pemberton Station.

If a forest walk along the Bibbulman track is of interest, take our One-Way Option. You can walk at your own pace from the Cascades back to Pemberton's Goucester Tree. Please allow 2-3 hours to complete this 6km bush track. A car drop-off service can be arranged if you contact us ahead of time.
